Names of Techniques?

Freeform was pointing out that Kung Fu has some weird and wonderful names for it's techniques. Tai Chi in particular has some fantastic ones.

Names like;

'Dragon sweep'
'Single whip'

etc.

Wouldn't it be great if all our techniques had more interesting names than 'Technique Seven' or whatever.

I was thinking of things like 'Licking your Elbow', or 'Scratching the Monkeys bum', stuff like that.

Anybody got some good ones? :D

The deadly one legged sidekick

kicking with your right leg while superbly maintaining balance on your left leg

Not much funny is it............?

Bouncing boulder hits cliff face (headstrike)
Big log swings out (elbow strike)
Splitting the river (knee strike)

step back repulse monkey
white crane spreads its wings
snake creeps down
playing the lute
needle to the sea floor


and some not so real.....

step back spank monkey
buttered crumpet falls face down
stunned herring bangs its knee
dragon whips the Llamas ass
oooooh...bet that hurt!

one of my Net freind named one non existing tecniques...
"monkey steals the peaches" this technique got too much n some really thinks it's "real deal" :D
now it's ur heacdache to figure out the peaches part ;)

Round house kick = Boot to the head
Hook kick to the head (with the heal) = headache
Midsection side kick = broken rib
kicking an elbow = hurting foot
blocking a full force front kick = broken arm
Takedown = on yer ass
elbow to the face = broken nose
a fake (in sparring) = sucker (with a laugh hehehe)
Full force front kick to the tummy = puke

I could keep going, but I'm tired LOL. Night all.
