100%? sure? I was wondering because I don't want to get a pair and then be in trouble. Thanks

Do you need a permit for one? Could you give me more info ^_^

I am turning 15 this summer.

Do you think it is good for me to get sai? And what kind Rubber? Chrome?

Sai are no problem. Perfectly legal, you can get them just about anywhere that sells MA stuff.

I think I got my first pair at 11 or 12 years old....

Rubber aren't really worth getting....

Just be careful and stay away from anything breakable.

Also might want to think of tieing them to your wrists to start, thats what I have everyone do.... Saves my mats :D

Tie them to your wrist so you can spin them?

Ok I have liked the sais's since DareDevil

I want real ones but my mother doesn't want them in the house?

do you have a garage? if so, train with them in the garage outside of MA training

No she doesn't like weapons.

Is there any good reasons why get a real one rather than rubber? ???

why not get rubber sai?

No, tie them to your wrist so that they don't poke holes in things if you drop them ;) Spinning.... What good is spinning :D

Rubber ones have no weight and are a very different feel. Providing you train safely I see no reason to bother with them.

Any good reasons to get real ones?

Because you are training in a real martial art?

No I am not using them to train in a martial art. I do have martial arts training though

I would like to just use them, spin them.

Get a cheerleading baton then ...

don't waste your money if you are not going to use them properly IMHO

I bought mine (sais) from http://www.martialartssupply.on.ca and was very happy with them (price, quick delivery etc.) I bought chrome ones and a snappy zip up carrying case for them. As far as other martial arts gear, www.kamikaze.com sells a good variety of pads n' stuff.

Cheers,
