Were ever thinking about Doing An MMA/NHB
Fight & Would U pre-fer a Ring or Cage??
I've done 1 in a Ring it was March of this year 2002.
I won by Submisson at 2:50 sec of the 1st round.
With an InsideHeel/Kneebar.
I want to do more i love the challenge.
I would like to go in the cage.
But i realy liked the Ring.

I've thought about it several times, but have to admit that it was only the financial gain that really interested me.

I haven't fought MMA for a couple years, but I definitely prefer a ring to a cage. Too many fighters just go for the TD and scoot you into the cage. With a ring, you see more subs and KOs.

Should be a good crack - I hope to go in for a MMA event before I hit 30.
Did a ring kickboxing fight with a guy and one 1.28 of the 1st round by KO.
Have to say it was a mis match though as the guy got clobbered!

Ring - I don't like the tactics that a cage brings into the game.
I also think that ring is more accepted then cage by the general public and politicians and is really the best way to go for the sport.

I'd love to fight NHB - preferably in a ring. I really wanted to start training in muay thai so I could compete in that and have a striking background, and I already train in BJJ...but the folks weren't too into my getting punched in the face (not too much of that in tkd), so I have to wait till I'm 18...

Getting punched in the face in Muay Thai, is the least of your worries....

Yup..Muay Thai fighters have eight deadly weapons: 2 fists, 2 elbows, 2 knees and 2 feet. Headbutts used to be allowed but not anymore I believe

If just for the heck of it...
somebody should build a six feet t deep by six feet diameter (bottom), concrete pit with sloping wall and fill it knee-deep with tabasco and sesame oil! ... A hanging, big molded , see-thru lexan cauldron would be terrific!

It's sad that the general public and the politicians thinks the cage is cruel but the UFC portrayed it that way in the early days. I think the ring is more dangerous, I have seen lots of people fall out or get throwin out of the ring and get serious injurys.

I would love to do nhb touraments but a couple of problems are in my way and need to talk with an expert on the subject. Small retinas, bad eyesite (contacts would be bad in the tournament), and my clotting factor 8 is low (it is at 25% being the most mild form of hemophilia A :( ).
