i think thats jun fan JKD is what is taught when your talking about what bruce taught in the LA school when he was alive. also what the jun fan Jeet kune do nuclues promotes. And jkd is the more current trend in concepts that you find today. Thats my take on it....................Any one else????

Jun Fan Gung Fu is what is what the modified Wing Chun Bruce taught before he started calling his thing Jeet Kune Do is commonly referred to. Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do is the art Bruce went on to develop. Jeet Kune Do is the idealogy that spawned Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do. Shortest I can cut it down to.

well is it not true that there are groups out there that only teach the JKD that was taught when BL was a live(1st Gens)and it is called Jun Fan Jeet Kune do??

Yep - that true - but some of them still call it JKD.
