Looking For Ajarn Prasit in NYC?

Hi There,

I was wondering if anyone is familair with the where abouts of Trainer Ajarn Prasit. I am a Muay Thai student of Utlimate Gym in NYC and I understand that Ajarn Prasit is in NYC training at a gym. He arrived Feb 3, 2004 and he is only here for 3 months.

If anyone has any idea of what gym he might be at would you kindly please contact. I would be so greatful! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Huh? If you are a student of Ultimate Gym then you know Ajarn Prasit returned back to Thailand as he usually does to take care of his family periodically. He returns every couple of months of so depending on his schedule as he maintains a muay thai camp in Bangkok full time.

Thank you for trying to be helpful! As I am a close student of Nestor's at Ultimate Gym and I have trained at Ajarn Prasit's camp in Bangkok, I am fully aware of his schedule. This time around Prasit is training at another gym in NYC and I am trying to locate him. Also just a heads up his family does not live anywhere near Bangkok and he does not maintain the camp in Bangkok full time that's one of the 3 jobs he has over there.

Well, since you know better all I can say is I just came back from thailand saw Ajarn Prasit there personally like four weeks. His wife and child live a few blocks from the camp and the camp is where is every afternoon and makes his money. His extended family lives in Korat. Good luck in your search since you are fatally misguided.

Again I am fully aware that Sit is here, I am glad you to here you had a great visit to Huay Kwang! Anyway your imput is greatly appreciated but I received a phone call from Bangkok that Ajarn Prasit arrived in NYC Feb, 3. Oh by the way the woman in Bangkok is his long time girlfriend his mom, wife, and 3 sons live in Khorlat.

Wow been a long time since I trained at Nestor's. Tell him I said hello, I never trained with Prasit but I worked with Coban when he was there. Those days were hell for me cuz I used to train in the middle and end of the day when I worked at CSFB.

Sure I will tell Nestor you said Hello! Prasit is great! I know him for about 4 years and I train quite a bit with him! Actually he and I work real well together! I am just continuing my search for him, while he is here for the next 2 months! I am sure he will call me he usually always does, or shows up at my door!

The Great Coban!!!!! I myself had not had the opportunity to train with him, I have heard many great things about him from some of his former students! I would love to train with him for one day if the chance ever arises! Well thanks for dropping me a line! I look forward to speaking with you in the future!

Hi Nicolo!

I received a phone call from Prasit's best friend in Bangkok this past Saturday 2/14/04 and he told me he needs to reach him and he has been in NYC since 2/3/04 -and he can't seem to remember the name of the gym where he is training.

I do know for a fact it is definietly not Nestor's (thank god for my ability to speak Thai). It is somewhere new for Prasit this time around! I am waiting for the phone to ring from the Little Bugger soon! By any chance if you hear of anything in regards to his whereabouts I would be pretty grateful! By the way I am just curious, Where do you train now?

This morning I called Prasit's girlfriend in BKK and she has also informed me that Prasit is in New York, she also confirmed he is not at Nestor's gym and she is unaware of the name of the gym Prasit is now training at in NYC! So therefore I will give you an extended Thank You for wishing me good luck on my continued search for Ajarn Prasit and you my friend are fatally misguided!

My friend here just got a call on his cell phone from Ajarn Prasit. He is in Bangkok and he needed some money which another friend is bringing over to him who is heading there now. I will be there soon but its without a doubt confirmed by several people who have spoken to him where is and thats bangkok.

Actually, as Sit is one to never be trusted, would you drop me a quick note after you actually see him there! This way I don't get my hopes up to doing some good clinch work!

Everyone that I know, that has been to Thailand and back during this time, has told me that Prasit is here in NYC and no one seems to know where. :confused: I also have had other students contacting me and asking for his where abouts. If anyone might have any leads it would be so greatly appreciated, :love: time is running out I understand Prasit is to return to Bangkok in April.

argg...dunno can't offer you any info Bangkokbaby...
maybe's he teaching at some nondescript school somewhere. NYC Metro is a big place but if he's not at one of the muay Thai camps then it's possible he's out in Long Island perhaps? Look up Valley Stream muay thai camp and other LI based camps. Maybe he's over that-a-way.
