ive recently joined the gym. so i can finally stop just doing weight training at home.
ive also been reading art of expressing the human body(shows bruce lees everything) and that where i get most of my ideas.
this is what i do so far.....
Bruce Lee's 20-Minute Strength and Shape Routine:
Clean and press: 2 sets of 8
Squat: 2 sets of 12
Barbell pullover: 2 sets of 8
Bench press: 2 sets of 6
Good Morning: 2 sets of 8
Barbell Curl: 2 sets of 8
Done 3 days a week.
And recently ive started circuit training on the machines 30 sec each and i plan to do this on the opposite days depending of course on how sore i may be.(listen to the body lol)
i also run about everyday 10-20 min
any thoughts please and if you need more info just holler =]

First off, don't try to the entire body. You won't maximize your gains. Instead, you should do three split days with exercise focusing on each part of the body. Drop BigMikey a PM. Being the brilliant and wonderful guys he is (I mean it) he will be able to help you set up a lifting routine. I also suggest visiting the website T-Nation for some reading supplements.

Also, I'd be nice to share what your goals are, so MAP members know what we are working with.

Not necessarily true. There are plenty of full body routines (Starting Strength, Wendler 5/3/1 etc) that can maximise gains. The trick is picking a routine that you will do consistently. For some people that is a split routine, for others a full body routine works best.

I agree. Most martial artists in my opinion would do well with two full body workouts a week. Throw in some stamina work a few times a week, and you still have plenty of time for skill training, which is the reason why you're training in the first place.
