Friend of mine uses a cycle one and his journeys appear on FB. Good way of recording and seeing your gains

I've downloaded the cycling one's app but Arkham Asylum is getting in the way of my testing it :bang: It looks good but I wish there was an easier way of downloading routes to follow onto the app.

I just downloaded Map My Run...but haven't used it yet. I need to buy an arm or waist strap with a pocket to put my phone when I run. I can't run with things in my pants pockets.

I was the same! I bought a cheap one and regretted it I couldnt get the velcro to fasten around my bicep! I found a better fit to wear it on the forearm, have ordered a better one from amazon

I use it on my phone from time to time, only f I'm going a further distance than my typical run or trying to beat my time..

Very useful program and I like the fact that you can search for runs mapped my others in your area.

I use (Map my Run) it as a training log (and to publicly brag about long or fast runs that I occassionally pull off). I also use Runkeeper, which I think is slightly better as a pure log. Map my Ride is awesome for cycling though, no competition there.

I wish someone would develop a martial arts training log like this where I could up notes and track my training hours. I use a pen and paper journal for this. Maybe pen and paper is really good enough.
