I am thinking of starting goju karate. I saw an advert in a karate mag for chris clifford. He sounds very good and is a holder of the bubishi. His not far from me and i'm thinking of going to him.
Thing is i can't find anything on the net about him, does anyone know anything? Is he anygood?

Dunno about him, but if you like the class I'd go regardless of the wolrd's opinion of him ;)
Good luck,

Osu,
You read the advert and something inside you has said, yes this sounds good.
Yes, he is good more so than you think. Best thing is to go and then you will see. Only honest and sincere people need apply.
Osu.

I never went to Chris as I heard that he is nuts and runs a cult association.
Can anyone suggest a superb Goju instructor in the north of Kent? I can only find an IOGKF club in Gravesend, but I can't make it on the nights it's on.
Please help..............

Hi Nicolai, sorry it is rather late for a response but i do not have a lot of time to browse forum even tough i am a member. I have not heard of an IOGKF dojo in Gravesend it is possible you are referring to Chalti Dojo in North Cray near Sidcup which I ran. We train Tue and Thur from 7.30-9.00 seniors. We are affiliated to OTGKA headed by Sensei George Andrews who run monthly courses Sat and Sun also he teaches on Mon evenings. If you are still interested training in Goju-Ryu check out the full details on my web site. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
