Its about five thirty in the morning. I've been up half an hour. Its freezing cold and I'm still drying from my shower. I'm leaving in another thirty minutes for Dorset in order to train over there. I would quite happily do this or something similar every weekend.
Why? I'm trying to think of a good reason, but I kind of get lost at the why, especially when I consider how warm and soft my bed was, and how my alarm was loud enough to give me a headache when it went off. Anyone else got a good reason, I know other people do similar things so at least I'm not alone there.

hmmm, on my college gymnastics team when we were practicing at 5:30 every morning. My roommate and I would always go to practice while every one was in there beds sleeping. We would be up be it raining, cold, or a nice morning outside. Even when we didn't go to sleep at all the previous day, we would not make that an excuse not to go. Why......... Because of dedication. Not only dedication, but because it is something we enjoy doing:D IF you are dedcated to something you enjoy, you would go through extreem measures to keep it up, because it's what you want to do. So keep it up man......All your dedication and training will pay off;)

get up at 6am, train circuits and drills for 1hr, maybe go out for a jog as well.
Go to Uni, finish at 15.15, go to the gym weights/cv/bagwork/drills depending on the day for an hour and a half.
Go home, eat, go train for another 2-3hrs
Go home sleep.
Wake up and repeat.
And thats just the weekdays, you wanna see my sunday session 7hrs of training!

I also wanted to add that I use to get up at 4:oo in the morning to go to work when I worked over the summer, sometimes at 3-3:30. It really isn't unusual at all to get up early to do things that you want to do, or to do things that you know needs to be done.

You're all deranged. Mornings are for staying in bed until the last possible minute. Plus I know Freeform's lying - he sees me for at least 3 hours of waking time a week outside of training.

I get up at 8.30 on the dot or later. Get to work half asleep/dressed exactly 5 mins late. Eat a bacon and sausage t-cake, Talk on the internet until lunch about the time I went to a MA club. Eat a high carb, high salt & calorie dinner. Get home around 5 and sleep for an hour, then eat, go our for several drinks, eat a curry or kebab then stagger home for sleep, then repeat. I believe this intensive regime has made me the MA’s I am! :D

Yes, I do get out of bed to work up to 100 hours a week, keep my house in order, train and even meet up with friends. I just prefer to train in the evenings thanks.

That's nowt.
I had to get up in t'morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down t'mill, and pay t'mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.
And you try and tell the young people of today that ..... they won't believe you.
